FINANCIAL IMPACT – VA Benefits System Changeover January 13

It is extremely important that you submit your Request for Benefits Form for Spring 2023 as soon as possible, otherwise your funding will be delayed.

Why: The current system for processing Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits is sun-setting on January 13; the replacement program will not be operational until late January.

Your course schedule must be set before submitting your RFB. Following RFB submission, the FSU benefits team then verifies your schedule against degree requirements before certifying course enrollment to the VA; this is not an automatic process and can take up to 30 days to process per student.
