Florida State is proud to be recognized as a national beacon of veteran support and success and that reputation is elevated by the more than 300 faculty and staff members on our campus who served. The Student Veterans Center's guidance, assistance and activities are also available to veterans who work at FSU. You may already be aware of Florida State’s veteran-preference hiring practices. Moreover, advice and direction are available through the SVC on your VA benefits, state and local veteran services, and the “network” of campus and community veterans.

Additionally, there's information about FSU policies pertaining to military/veteran students (drills, deployment, credit for military training, etc.) that should be beneficial to you. There's also info about events and activities that these students, which you're welcome to also participate in, including our free veterans luncheon each month, which we call the First Friday Feast.
