Smart (Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation) Scholarships

  • Funded by the Department of Defense, SMART scholarships provide full-tuition funding, annual stipends and book/health allowances to active-military students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

 

Pat Tillman Foundation

  • Veteran and active service member of both pre- and post-9/11
  • Service members who wish to start, finish, or further their needs
  • Those whose benefits have run out or do not meet their needs
  • Those enrolled as a full-time student at a U.S. institution of higher learning
  • Service members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserve
  • Service members pursuing undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, 2-year, 4-year, public private, vocational, and trade degrees or certifications

 

FRA Scholarship Program

  • FRA is proud to support America's future leaderships by awarding more than $100,000 annually in scholarships to deserving students
    • FRA scholarships are awarded to FRA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren

 

Alaskan Sea Service Scholarship Fund

  • Applicant must be a legal resident of the State of Alaska

 

American Society of Naval Engineers Scholarship Programs

  • Candidates must be in final one/two years of full time or co-op undergraduate or one year graduate program in engineering or physical science
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

 

 Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)

  • Full-time students with exceptional financial need pursuing a degree in medicine, dentistry, nursing or other health-related disciplines.

 

AFCEA Educational Foundation

  • Awards for military personnel seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees
  • Scholarships also available for veterans of Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom

 

Health Professions Scholarships - ArmyNavyAir Force

  • Scholarship covers complete tuition, books and stipend of up to $2,060 per month
  • Two, three and four-year programs available
  • Scholarship applicants should be submitted at the same time as the medical school application
  • One year payback in the armed forces for each year in the program

 

National Association of Veteran Program Administrators (NAVPA)

  • Open to veterans, service members and their dependents
  • Eight awards of $1,000 each (one award in each of 8 regions)

 

Fraternal Order UDT/SEAL Education Grant

  • Sons/daughters of regular members in good standing
